Personal Data Processing Policy
1. General Provisions
This personal data processing policy has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 152-FZ dated July 27, 2006 “On Personal Data” and defines the procedure for processing personal data and measures to ensure the security of personal data by the editorial office of the magazine “Kot v Meshke” (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”).
The Operator considers the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms in the processing of personal data, including the protection of the right to privacy and personal and family confidentiality, to be its highest priority and a mandatory condition for carrying out its activities.
This Operator’s policy regarding personal data processing (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) applies to all information that the Operator may obtain about visitors to the website: http://www.kotvmeshke.org.
2. Basic Terms Used in the Policy
Automated processing of personal data — processing of personal data using computer technology.
Blocking of personal data — temporary suspension of the processing of personal data (except where processing is necessary for clarification of personal data).
Website — a collection of graphic and informational materials, as well as software and databases, ensuring their availability on the Internet at: http://www.kotvmeshke.org.
Personal data information system — a set of personal data contained in databases and the information technologies and technical means used to process them.

Operator — a state authority, municipal authority, legal entity, or individual that independently or jointly with others organizes and/or carries out the processing of personal data and determines the purposes of processing, the composition of personal data, and actions performed with personal data.
Personal data — any information relating directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable user of the website http://www.kotvmeshke.org.
User — any visitor to the website http://www.kotvmeshke.org.
Provision of personal data — actions aimed at disclosing personal data to a specific person or group of persons.
Distribution of personal data — any actions aimed at disclosing personal data to an indefinite group of persons, including publication in the media, posting on information and telecommunications networks, or otherwise granting access to personal data.
Cross-border transfer of personal data — transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign state, to a foreign authority, foreign individual, or foreign legal entity.
Destruction of personal data — any actions resulting in the irreversible destruction of personal data with no possibility of restoring its contents in the personal data information system and/or destruction of physical media containing personal data.
3. Personal Data That the Operator May Process
The Operator may process the following personal data of the User:

The website also collects and processes anonymized visitor data (including cookies) using internet statistics services such as Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics, and others.
All the above-mentioned data are collectively referred to in this Policy as “Personal Data.”
4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing
The purpose of processing the User’s personal data is to inform the User by sending emails.
The Operator also has the right to send notifications about new products and services, special offers, and various events. The User may unsubscribe from such communications at any time by sending an email to kot@kotvmeshke.org with the subject line: “Unsubscribe from notifications about new products, services, and special offers.”
Anonymized user data collected through internet statistics services are used to gather information about user activity on the website and to improve the quality and content of the website.
5. Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing
The Operator processes the User’s personal data only if the User independently fills out and/or submits such data through forms located on the website http://www.kotvmeshke.org. By filling out the forms and/or submitting personal data to the Operator, the User agrees to this Policy.
The Operator processes anonymized user data if this is allowed in the User’s browser settings (cookies and JavaScript enabled).
6. Procedure for Collection, Storage, Transfer, and Other Processing of Personal Data
The security of personal data processed by the Operator is ensured through the implementation of legal, organizational, and technical measures necessary for full compliance with current legislation on personal data protection.
The Operator ensures the confidentiality of personal data and takes all possible measures to prevent unauthorized access.
The User’s personal data will never be transferred to third parties under any circumstances, except where required by law.
If inaccuracies in personal data are identified, the User may update them independently by sending a notification to the Operator at kot@kotvmeshke.org with the subject line: “Update of personal data.”
The processing period for personal data is unlimited. The User may withdraw consent to personal data processing at any time by sending an email to kot@kotvmeshke.org with the subject line: “Withdrawal of consent to personal data processing.”
7. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data
Before carrying out a cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator must ensure that the foreign state to which the transfer is planned provides reliable protection of the rights of personal data subjects.
Cross-border transfer of personal data to foreign countries that do not meet the above requirements may be carried out only with the written consent of the personal data subject and/or for the performance of a contract to which the subject is a party.

Any changes to the Operator’s personal data processing policy will be reflected in this document. The Policy remains in effect indefinitely until replaced by a new version.
